This Turkish wholesome soup filled with protien and iron is a great choice for Weighloss and keeping fit

INGREDIENTS :


  1. 1/2 cup Red lentil ( masoor)

  2. 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes

  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped mint leaves

  4. 3/4 cup chopped onions

  5. 3/4 cup chopped carrots

  6. 1/2 tbsp red chilli flakes

  7. Salt to taste


PREPARATION :


  1. Dry roast the mint leaves on a slow flame and keep it aside.

  2. In a pressure cooker add onions , carrots , tomatoes, dal and 2 cups of water , mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

  3. Later let it cool and put the mixture into a blender, blend well.

  4. Transfer the mixture into the pan and add the roasted mint leaves , chilli flakes, salt , 1 cup or water and mix well and cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes while stirring occasionally.
